FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions about Home Staging

Q?

What if my house doesn’t sell?

A.

In the rare occasion that your house is taken off of the market without selling, we charge a $550 initial fee to stage + a $1000 flat fee after we unstage instead of our customary 1% of the sales price.

Q?

What is Home Staging?

A.

Home staging is the process of preparing a private residence for sale in the real estate marketplace. The goal is to make a home appeal to the highest number of potential buyers in order to sell a property more quickly and for more money. It involves a combination of decorating technique and complementary furniture and accessories to bring out the best in your home.

Q?

Why should I stage my home?

A.

Professionally staged homes sell faster and for more money. The National Association of Realtors found that a professionally staged home will sell 50% faster and have an increased profit of 6-17%. For example, a non-staged home that sold for $300,000 probably would have sold for at least $318,000 with staging. So for a fraction of the cost of selling, you can sell your home faster and get more money for it.

Q?

What will it cost me to stage my home?

A.

With Aggieland Home Staging, it only takes a $550 initial fee + 1% of the sale price due at closing to have your home staged for 3 months!

Q?

How long does it take to stage my home?

A.

Once you decide on a collection, contact our team to book your home staging. Typically, we can stage a home in as early as 3 days.
